The "Fourth Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao" will be held this year, hoping to reflect the cultural and ideological integration across time and space between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao through the contest exchange ..... 

 

In the golden autumn season, the Fourth Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao (hereinafter referred to as the "Aerial Photography Contest") has started collecting works! 

As a national key exchange event, the Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao has been accomplished three times in Shenzhen since it was approved by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council in 2017. In the first three contests were themed with "Overlooking Shenzhen, Glorious Future," "40 Years of Glorious Footprints", and "Home", attracting hundreds of aerial photography teams from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao to participate in the creation. The contest has had a wide and strong response on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao, and has now developed into the most authoritative contest in the field of aerial photography. 

The 4th Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao will display the cultural and ideological integration that spans time and space between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao. Based on the contest, it will hold a series of events, including a drone aerial photography creation theme forum, drone and drone aerial photography works exhibition, contest award ceremony, and drone performance show.   

The organizing committee of this year's aerial photography creation contest will adopt public solicitation and targeted invitation to determine the final team to participate in the finals. Building on the existing group awards like the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, Network Popularity Awards, Media Attention Awards, and individual awards such as the Best Screenplay Award, Best Drone Flyer Award, Best Gimbal Operator Award, and Best Editing Award, this contest establishes campus new talent awards for outstanding teams from China's universities, increasing the influence of the contest among young groups, and awarding generous bonuses of up to RMB 30,000. 

Requirements

  1. Aerial photography teams targeting both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao, with each team limited to one work;
  2. The drone flyer in the participating team must hold corresponding qualification certificates recognized by the contest executive committee;
  3. After the participating team has registered, they shall not arbitrarily add or change team members, and the participation quota is not transferable. Provided that the participants can't participate in the contest, they shall timely communicate with the organizing committee. With the consent of the organizing committee, the participating team may be absent from the contest, but no less than 2 people are allowed. The team will be considered as an automatic abandonment if less than 2 people. Each participating team member can only participate in one team;
  4. Participants provide their own aerial photography equipment and production editing equipment; 
  5. The work topic conforms to the cultural orientation of mainstream values, spreads a healthy and upward attitude and philosophy, and reflects Chinese culture. It promotes the spirit of Chinese aesthetics, and meets the organic unity of ideological, artistic, and ornamental aspects. 

Notice

  1. The entries' content and theme are not limited, which shall display the cultural and ideological integration between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao;
  2. The shooting location of the entries is unlimited, but must comply with the relevant laws and regulations;
  3. The duration of the work should be 3-5 minutes, with aerial photography shots accounting for more than 50% of the total duration, and original shots accounting for no less than 60% of the total duration;
  4. The entries must not contain any content (including text, language, scene, background) that contradicts the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, which shall not include or involve ethnic discrimination, religious discrimination, racial discrimination, and does not contain pornographic, violent or other harmful content. If quoting the content of others' works, it shall not involve infringement of others' copyright or other related copyright issues;
  5. The work can be moderately rendered but cannot change the screen's main content elements. Editing techniques such as editing, soundtrack, and special effects are included in the review project;  
  6. The work has a resolution of 1080p or higher, with a 16:9 frame and an MP4 format video.  The work has no watermark, and the creator's information and other content should only appear at the end of the film, without the creator's contact information;
  7. Other detailed rules shall be subject to the organizing committee's notice. 

Registration and submission

  1. Please complete the attached Application Form for Entries and Copyright Commitment Letter when registering for the contest, and send them along with the entries to the organizing committee via email to collect the work email: dvc@auvsc.com; or fill out the attached form and provide the download network disk information along with the email;
  2. The registration deadline is October 15, 2021;
  3. Email subject note: Short film name + contact name, contact phone number;
  4. After receiving all the materials, the organizing committee will reply to an email to confirm the successful registration;
  5. The shortlist notification will be sent by the organizing committee via email. The shortlist team must reply to confirm whether to accept the shortlist invitation before the deadline. Failure to reply within the deadline will be deemed as automatic waiver of eligibility;
  6. Once the acceptance of the shortlist invitation is officially confirmed, please cooperate with the organizer's relevant preparations and do not withdraw the selected projects for any reason.
