2021 The Fourth Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao, with the theme of “Integration”, since starting officially on August 20 in Shenzhen, has received nearly 100 works for preliminary round from both sides across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao. And after online voting and judge review, 25 teams have been selected with additional 2 invited teams, making a total of 27 teams entering the final round.

The participating teams adopted different perspectives to fully demonstrate the theme of “Integration”, whose works not only contained the prairie and rivers in northern China as well as the snow-covered South Pole, but also the surging trends of the Greater Bay Area as well as the change and growth of people from both side across the Strait.

The contest richly embodied and presented the cultural and ideological integration across time and space of both sides across of Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao, and fully demonstrated the social and economic integration and development of both sides across the Strait and the splendid chapters that has integrated into the Greater Bay Area as well as the great rejuvenation of China.

Since the establishment, the Drone Vision Contest has always been committed to the goal that build itself into the highest contest with high-quality in the aerial photography field, which cannot be achieved without the credit of contest jury composed by multiple professional judges.

The contest jury this year included Hu Zhanfan, the Vice Chairman of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chairman of China TV Artists Association; Liu Tiemin, the former Director of CCTV Spring Festival Gala and the General Director of Super Variety Show; Cai an’an, the President of Macao Film Association and a renowned director; Zheng Hao, a famous music television director and film producer; Li Gang, a famous scriptwriter and director from Taiwan; Li Lichi, a renowned director from Hong Kong, etc.

The contest jury introduced that all the works had their own style and artistic features, and presented favorable levels in terms of the practicality of skills, diversity of narrative and wide ranges of materials taken.

The final round of the contest this year was highly intense, and after the online voting, media review and jury review, different awards were finally determined, including the Special Works Recommended by Judges, the Internet Popularity Award, the Media Focus Award, the Best Pilot Award, the Best Editing Award, and the Best UAV Platform Operator Award, and the Gold, Silver and Bronze Award for teams.

The contest this year also added some awards such as New Campus Elite Award and the Dapeng Special Kunpeng Award, etc. The works collected from those outstanding teams from both sides across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao also recorded the original aerial footage works telling the integrated development, urban changes and touching stories of both sides across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao.

The contest also conveyed the deep love, sincere blessing and devout praise from the youth in the new era to our home and life.

On December 9, the Award Ceremony of 2021 The Fourth Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao, guided by All-China Federation Of Taiwan Compatriots and China TV Artists Association and jointly organized by Chinese Culture Promotion Society and China Association of Remote Sensing Application, was successfully held in the main venue of Dapeng New Area, Shenzhen.

The guests attending the Award Ceremony were Ma Xiaoguang, the Information Bureau Director of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council; Wang Qiang, the member of the Shenzhen Municipal Standing Committee; Zhao Qifa, the Chief Supervisor of China Association of Remote Sensing Application; Xiao Bin, the Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office; Zheng Chongyang, the Director of Shenzhen Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office; Liu Guangyang, the Secretary of Working Committee of Dapeng New Area; comrades in charge of related districts and branches in Shenzhen; and judges and guests in Shenzhen.

After fierce competition and professional review by judges, the winner of the Gold Award of the contest this year was finally announced: the China Media Asia-Pacific Station from Hong Kong, with its work of Integration, that is Hong Kong !
