01 About the Contest

As a national key cultural exchange activity, the Drone Vision Contest of the Both Sides Across Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao has been successfully held for four times.

By virtue of the drone vision, the representative of integration between scientific technology and art, the contest aims to provide a new perspective of cultural integration for the both sides across the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong & Macao, and a new path of convergence for drone aerial photography and film production, so as to build a new platform for long-term mutual learning, exchange and creation.

Based on the success of the previous four contests, this year will add more professional awards, increase more favorable prize money, expand the scope of the participating institutions and universities, and inject more brand new vitality to the contest.

03 Entry Requirements

Team Requirements:

  • The contest is open to aerial photography teams across the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao, while each team can only submit one work and each person can only join one single team;
  • the drone pilot of the team must have related qualification certificates recognized by the executive committee of the contest;
  • the team shall consist of at least 2 members, no addition or replacement of team members shall be allowed after registering the contest, and the enrollment cannot be transferred.

Work Requirements:

  • The works, with unlimited themes, shall spread the healthy and positive attitudes and concepts and encourage the integration of cultures and ideas across the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao, whose contents shall be in line with the cultural orientation of mainstream values.
  • The works should be submitted in MP4 format, with the recommended duration of 3-5 minutes, the aerial footage of more than 30% of the total film length, no watermark, the resolution of 1080p or above, and the picture ratio of 16:9.
  • The works cannot infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, and all legal disputes arising from this shall be borne by the participant.
  •  The works must not contain any content (including text, language, scenes, background) that contradicts the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and cannot contain or involve any ethnic, religious or racial discrimination, etc., as well as any pornography, violence and other undesirable content.

04 Application Notice

  1. Registration for the contest: no fees will be charged for the registration;
  2. Deadline for registration: June 30, 2022;
